April 17 - I cannot believe I actually grilled artichokes! I don't think I will try it again. It was a lot of trouble and the cooking times in the book seem to be way too short. The actual grilling is the easy part. I think you should steam the artichokes first for awhile on the stove top and then start in with the process in the recipe of cooking in oil and herbs on top of stove and then in oven. All of this BEFORE it goes in the grill. Like I said, too much trouble.

Even us major fans of artichokes did not find this recipe to be worth the trouble.
