March 6, 2010. The flank steak was very good. The sauce was ok. Warming up the pita in the grill adds a nice flavor. Our friends, Mark and Jayne joined in the fun. Jayne prepared salad and dessert - macaroons and an apple tart which were excellent! Both reminded us of the time we lived in Europe. Macaroons from Laduree in Paris were one of our favorites!

We can just sum up our experience by saying that recipes that feature grilled bread and grilled beef, in whatever cut and kind, tend to be great. The sauce for this was fine, but there are lots of yummy sauces for flank steak and pita, so have whichever one you like.
